We are encouraging employee share ownership throughout the world to give our employees a real stake in the company and to support understanding of company objectives and shareholder considerations.

We offer a number of share arrangements available to our employees to reinforce our performance culture.

Partnership Shares

This option is designed to maximise your opportunity to acquire tax free shares allowing our employees to invest up to 10% of their pre-tax salary (to a maximum of £125 per month) in AstraZeneca shares, which attract no income tax whatsoever if held in trust for 5 years.

Savings-related share options
Eligible employees have the option to participate in AstraZeneca's savings related share option scheme. This is a regular savings plan, with a terminal bonus at the end of the 3 or 5 year scheme, which allows you to buy AstraZeneca shares at a 10% discount to the market price at the start of the savings period.
